"Hand On Glass" - CircleSeat 6.03 - by Brent Leopold Most pictures I keep the meaning as dense as I can. It is more important for me to hear others stories and view points.(to stay interactive). For a the basic meaning; it the feeling of putting your hand and face on glass. Touching glass you can feel cold or warmth.. I want to feel textures of rain..you want to feel the protection of clear walls. You see the world as your not total apart of it. The two drawings are apart of changing of details..Glass distorts and changes as it gets older..discolors..when you look past the glass the world gets distorted..and subjects can be clear but backgrounds fade..break apart. The picture is an interpretation of these sensations. What is interesting about the chair it self. Textures play apart. You can feel the smoothness of paint,the bumps of glass beads..see the wood past the paint..Color intermix. and relate to each other. This chair is something you want to see and touch..and look around..
