"Elegant Curves" - CircleSeat 6.26 - by Amy and Galen Gish We liked the elegant curves of the chair - although its finish was drab and worn. We decided to give the chair a makeover so that the new finish matched the elegant curves of the back and legs. However, we also appreciated the fact that this chair had obviously been well used. So we decided to leave the chair's character intact by not fixing every little dent and ding. Because we also wanted the chair to be usable, we kept the design very simple. The chair was hand painted with a metalic finish then accented with a simple, raised gold leaf pattern on the sides. It is embelished with beaded fringe on the back and around the seat. The fringe on the front of the chair and the top of the seat cushion are highlighted with genuine freshwater pearls (extras have been hidden underneath the seat in case any are lost over time). The chair is appropirate for inside use, although the pearls on the seat will not hold up to extensive wear and tear.
